UC Berkeley

At the UC Berkeley campus you will find many programs available but there main education is focused on research. There are a total of fourteen colleges and schools for each program that is available. The programs that are studied contain the arts and sciences. UC Berkeley is located in Berkeley, California. At this campus you will find that much of the land is wooded and there is a beautiful creek that runs through the campus. If you love nature, you might consider attending UC Berkeley.

UC San Francisco

If you plan on attending one the nation’s top medical schools, UC San Francisco is the place to be. They are known for finding many treatments for certain illnesses and new discoveries. The United States largest research center for HIV/AIDs is located at UC San Francisco. There are many different medical fields to study such as dental, pharmacy, nursing, and health sciences.

UC Hastings

UC Hastings is not located on a general campus but you will find it located in the San Francisco Civic Center. This college is a well known law school ranked 39th in the states in 2009. Hastings was named after Justice Serranus Clinton Hastings. He funded the money to open this college but under conditions. These conditions were that the college had to stay near the courts in San Francisco and that the Regents of the University of California could not govern it.
