UC Davis
This campus is the largest among all ten campuses at the University of California. They also have their own airport and fire department on site. If you are interested in art, this campus has art statues located all over the premises. Inside the Fine Arts Building you will find sculptures such as Yin and Yang, and See No Evil/ Hear No Evil. The best way to get around this campus is to own a bicycle. You will probably find more bicycles on this campus than you will at any other college in the United States. The type of study that UC Davis provides is mostly agricultural studies, but there are others available.UC Riverside
UC Riverside is located in Riverside, California and is well known for their research on entomology and citrus diversity. They also offer other studies such as photography, and science fiction. There graduate center is located in Palm Desert but the campus is only a fraction of the size. The beauty to this campus is that you are located near Box Spring Mountains and on the left side of campus are the Botanic Gardens.
UC Los Angeles
UC Los Angeles is the most popular college throughout the United States. This campus is also commonly known as UCLA. At UCLA you can study the arts such as music, theatre, and television. You can also study in the medical field and architecture. So far in 2009, UCLA has received 55,636 applications and only about 12,000 students will be accepted. They are located near the San Diego Freeway and Sunset Boulevard.
UC Santa Barbara
UCSB has an extravagant view of the lagoon that runs right through the campus. They are also located just above the ocean. At UCSB you will find that they are well known for having parties because of the location which can be a disturbance for those who are there to just learn. In order to be accepted into UCSB you must obtain at least a 3.4 Grade Point Average or higher. Pell Grants are also available to those who qualify.
